Information About Zack - Crawley Guitar teacher
Personal Description:
I have been playing guitar for over 20 years, teaching, performing and writing songs that have been played on local radio stations. I play electric and acoustic guitars as well as some classical fingerpicking. I have organised events, played hundreds of open mics and collaborated with musicians from different genres.
Tutoring Experience:
I started teaching guitar in the 90's when Nirvana hit the scene to students of all levels from beginner to advanced. I have helped students in the general development of their guitar skills, ear training, harmony and music theory knowledge. I have also accompanied students with song writing and live performance abilities and opportunities. Providing them with a stage.
Tutoring Approach:
I am open minded with the learning approach, I follow more informal tuition based on what the student wants to do with music (It maybe writing, performing, recording, rehearsing, band or solo performance path). Music is a great discipline & good for focusing the mind & concentration.
The most important thing for me is to help learners express their passion for music. One thing is guaranteed - Music is a friend for life!
I'm checking out new venues for a guitar social club as well as making plans to re-launch my Guitar Hub workshops in Crawley Museum, a great space for all the family to visit (Coffee only £1.50 :).
This is a great opportunity to finally get out your guitar and come out to play. Whatever your age or level. Together, we can prepare to perform some classic songs. When you are confident enough, you will be able to join our local musicians on the stage for a jam session! Join Alex Ede's event at The Swan, Open Mic (Every Other Tuesday from 7:30pm).
